Welcome folks.
After a long and extensive rebuild (still on-going) we have finally got our site back up and running smoothly. As you can see this is a much more advanced forums system with many new features and many, many more on the way.
This all did not come without cost though. It was very expensive to purchase and it has taken us hours and hours to get set up and maintain. So with that thought in mind, PLEASE find a way to donate as much as possible. Your donations will go strictly towards this site and it's maintenance. For those of you that do make donations, Jack has plans to award those whom have the dedication and willingness to support this site some very special offerings that will be announced in the near future. If you are unable to donate please don't worry, all are always welcome here at RippersPlace and as a valued member you will continue to be able to enjoy all the normal perks of your membership.

The web host's data base went south this afternoon and there working on restoring it. In the mean time the only effect it has on Rippersplace is the four servers located at the top of the forums. I will leave them in place and I assure you that all servers are up and running. Once the data base goes back on line the server feeds will be restored automatically.
After many hours of work it appears that the upgrade here at Rippersplace was most successful. All modifications except for one have been tested and or upgraded to work with this new version. There are still areas that need testing for functionality and performance.
This new upgrade has brought many new user friendly features that were not available before. There are user control panel extras, posting features and much, much more.
On Monday morning RippersPlace will be shut down temporaraly while the forums are reconfigured and upgraded to the newest build. This is nessesarry in order to keep the software updated and supported. Most of the modifications will remain with only a few exceptions. All though the folks at vBulletin are still supporting their product, many mods and features are losing support to focus more attention towards future developments.

That's wright folks. After quite some configurations (More to follow), we now have a "LIVE" rss feed straight from the folks at valve to us. These are all the same update news you see when you log into your steam account to play but without the need to leave here to read them.
This of coarse is all part of our continued efforts to keep you all up to speed will all the latest steam events.
We are dedicated to bring you as much new information about this site and whats happening with »cOd«. Just keep an eye out and we will update the forum news when ever we have something new to report.
