Just banned roughly 5 minutes ago for 10,080 minutes, or 7 days. I saved a log of the console just in case. I say literally no idea because I received no warning or reason and it took place in the middle of a round.

I've spoken to Torque and we believe your ban is for a period of 7 days. No offense but you've shot me many times, killed me with HE grenades and tk'ed your own team mates for weeks. There is no doubt about the ban to me. You're lucky I haven't banned you before Torque. He's more patient than myself.

Considering you've taken the time to post an appeal, the fact that you are playing better, and our propensity to give players a second chance, I will have the ban removed if after 7 days it's not done automatically. If it doesn't happen, post a reply here.

But I did no TK-ing in the lead-up to the ban. Like I said, I shot a teammate once. It took place 6 or so rounds before being banned (we both shot each other accidentally aiming for a terrorist). If he/she is saying I was rampantly TK-ing, team-wounding or being disruptive, he/she is lying.
Again, there was no warning or prior notice or reason given for the ban.

Two admins said they saw you intentionally wounding/killing your teammates so this issue is not up for debate. You have been banned for a period of 7 days as punishment for your actions in game. I would advise you to accept the punishment and make the necessary adjustments to prevent further infractions. Otherwise, the next ban will be permanent.

Okay. It is good to know that I should start recording demos because I am apparently a liar if I do not bare the cod tag.

I know playing on your servers are a privilege and that I am the one asking for a favor here, but what's the point if I can get banned for no reason on a whim. This ban appeal process exists to get to the truth of a matter at hand and allow for someone banned to explain a situation in hopes to have said ban reversed. Or at the very least, to have a ban explained to the banned person by the admin who performed the ban.

I have the full console log of my playtime for the game session in question and no one has asked to see it. Why take the word over another person over another person that has irrefutable proof of something. Aligning up my log with the server logs is easy enough to do.

Stewie, when did someone say intentionally? One, that is false and two, I do not see that in this thread.

Liar - A word which will endear you to all of our clans admins. We are some of the most forgiving admins of any clan I've been involved with in the 13 or so years I have been playing Counter-Strike. Just read all the appeals posted before yours.

First of all, the happy horse pucky about you being called a liar because you don't wear a cod tag is just that. Put that word in your back pocket or take your ball and go elsewhere. Playing on our servers is NOT a privilege, they are open to all but tk'ers and hackers.

Secondly, Torque is our most laid back admin we have. He gives more leeway than any of us. The fact that you received only a 7 day ban speaks for itself. Ban on Server # 2 are almost always permanent. We like to keep our "home server" free of clutter.

Thirdly, Curtis you have tk'ed me on numerous occasions, do you have console logs of that? In the last couple of months since you started playing on our servers, your tk's occurred at rate we don't put up with. But we stayed with you as you got better, when in the past, you'd have been gone your first night. But we are trying to be more accommodating to new players. We get about 10,000 on our servers every 6 weeks or so and we do try and help newb's. Ask »cOd« Wafflez, a 12 year old kid. Ask how we treated him!!

Twice I've had the ban menu up on you, but as I'm about to hit the "Ban by I.P." button, Torque's comments to me have made me stop. "We are a newbie server and we should treat them with respect and encourage them to be better players". Torque does more to help newb's than anyone here. Like I said, his 7 day ban speaks volumes to me. And......believe me, every admin has seen your play.

The day you were banned, Torque and I banned about 7-9 players due to TK's, and the exact event which caused yours, he could not remember. The same goes for me. All I can say is Torque is the last admin to ban someone unnecessarily and all I asked you to do was wait out the 7 days. In fact, by the time we located your ban on the logs, applied the unban, the 7 day would have transpired and you would have been good to go.

Bottom line is I don't like the word liar. PERIOD!!!! But I will let the 7 day ban run its course and give the other admins time to post comments regarding this situation.

If you're not happy with this, send a email to Jack and tell him Torque and Slo gave you a raw deal.

What happens after 7 days is up to you. If you still want to play and cannot get on the server, post it here. You are welcome on our servers as long as you keep that word, liar, in your back pocket and the tk's come to an end.

I ban by steam id only. Most folks don't pay the extra bucks for static ip and use dynamic which could change when their machine reboots or their network carrier's router reboots allowing them to come back into the server.

If I witness an intentional tk it's game over. We don't want these people coming back after we leave to stink the place up and drive gamers away.

Curtis, you've been given a second chance Jack, Payo or myself would NEVER have done so be really happy, really careful and enjoy the servers.
