Welcome folks.
After a long and extensive rebuild (still on-going) we have finally got our site back up and running smoothly. As you can see this is a much more advanced forums system with many new features and many, many more on the way.
This all did not come without cost though. It was very expensive to purchase and it has taken us hours and hours to get set up and maintain. So with that thought in mind, PLEASE find a way to donate as much as possible. Your donations will go strictly towards this site and it's maintenance. For those of you that do make donations, Jack has plans to award those whom have the dedication and willingness to support this site some very special offerings that will be announced in the near future. If you are unable to donate please don't worry, all are always welcome here at RippersPlace and as a valued member you will continue to be able to enjoy all the normal perks of your membership.

For years now most folks have never had a clue as to who the original three members realy are or what we look like. So I figured I would through out a picture of each. Most of you who paid attention to the tv broadcast of New York goes to work on VH1 that featured the Abolish Pest Control company already saw two of them. From left to right are: Randy "JackTheRipper, Manny "Payo" and Jim "Coroner".
There are now over 50 addon campaigns on the Cause of Death Left4Dead server. Each has been tested and work perfectly.
I added these because the lack of dedicated servers hosting the custom maps which was forcing people to host the maps locally which in most cases are extremely lagging. It's also bad because in a lot of cases the person who is hosting the maps may quit or time out stopping the game play.

We now have a Cause of Death Left4Dead server up and running. I'm still configuring the settings and will add some custom campaigns shortly. I still have ServerChecker set up for the Zombiemod server so in the event of a system restart or crash the machine will trigger that game and not the Left4Dead as it did last night. That's wright folks. After a major league battle with my host I got the data base back but not with out cost. You'll notice that the servers at the top of the forums look a little different? That's because of changes made by the host blocking the original feed. Thanks to the tireless efforts of Richard Perry over at http://www.greycube.com who's mod I've been using for over a year. The web host's data base went south this afternoon and there working on restoring it. In the mean time the only effect it has on Rippersplace is the four servers located at the top of the forums. I will leave them in place and I assure you that all servers are up and running. Once the data base goes back on line the server feeds will be restored automatically.
